Framestore CEO William Sargent was on BBC Breakfast in October talking about the importance of the visual industry to the UK economy, alongside Escape Studios and Samantha Perahia of the British Film Commission, who revealed that film tax relief brings in at least £12 for every £1 spent on it.
The broadcast came live from Framestore’s Capture Lab, which gave us a great opportunity to show off some of our motion capture techniques, sitting Kreacher from the Harry Potter series on the sofa (yawning – see above) for all the interviews before making him and Dobby (controlled by presenter Steph McGovern) dance.
